DagdaCon is Ireland’s newest Tabletop convention, bringing together many aspects of the tabletop gaming hobby over one weekend. We will have a range of events and activities with Sunday focusing on activities for all the family.

What is a tabletop convention?

A tabletop any game played on a flat table such as board games, card games, role-playing games, and miniatures wargaming.

A tabletop convention is a large gathering, often spanning a weekend, that serves as a hub for fans of tabletop games. Attendees can browse the games on show, participate in a range of events and meet other like minded people in a save environment.

What makes DagdaCon different?

DagdaCon is a place where all our otherworlds come together. A place where the norms of everyday life meet the wonderful and mysterious.

We are a community spanning every genre, game, story, idea and dream. On table-tops around the country, we share the joy brought by our games. Our games can be very different, but the people that play them all play them for the same reasons.

In the mythos of the Tuatha De Danann, the otherworlds of the fairies and the gods were connected to our world by portals under mounds and caves across Ireland. Like these portals, we want DagdaCon to be where our communities connect. A place to play your games and try out others. A place to start new games, meet other parts of our varied and great community and, perhaps, make a few friends along the way.
